Porextherm – Innovative Thermal Insulation made in Germany/Kempten Since its foundation in 1989, Porextherm Dämmstoffe GmbH has been a supplier of innovative thermal insulation solutions. We have continually expanded our core competencies in the field of microporous high-performance thermal insulation materials and have developed a wide range of partly patented products and production processes. Owing to our growth-oriented strategy, we have evolved into one of the world-wide leading manufacturers of microporous high temperature insulation and vacuum insulation panels. Porextherm now has a central, state-of-the-art, high capacity production facility in Kempten, Germany, in order to be able to supply the strongly growing domestic as well as international markets. Innovative thermal insulation continues to gain importance, not only in view of limited energy resources and rising costs. Particulary new technologies with specific insulation requirements increasingly demand tailor-made solutions in the low- as well as high-temperature range. In this respect, demands made on thermal insulation materials include the continual reduction of thermal conductivity as well as reduced layer thicknesses. Handling must be simple and at the same time not pose a health risk. Last, but not least, thermal insulation materials must be available as standardized preformed elements as well as for individual applications. Porextherm’s research & development and engineering departments offer many solutions that perfectly meet these demanding requirements. In close cooperation with our customers, we design and develop innovative and remarkable insulation products that are also suitable for integration in serial production processes. Supplementary to our existing product lines, we offer our customers our individual consultation and engineering services to work out a solution for their specific thermal insulation problems.
