Jarred Kaiser is the designer and craftsman behind Past Presence Designs. His designs use metal as the primary medium to create furniture that could be categorized as functional art. The geometric shapes of the cut and hand-welded metal create sleek and modern tables that make bold statements . His designs strive to be truly functional and built to stand the test of time. Conforming to the design principals of clean lines, simplicity, and proper proportions he looks to make pieces that will be sought after for decades to come. Jarred attended Wyoming Technical Institute to learn the foundations of metal working. He then continued on to become a student of Fay Butler, who is regarded as the greatest teacher of both metal shaping and its principles. Using the skill set and equipment from the coach building industry of yesteryear, compound shapes can be fabricated into beautiful flowing lines to create furniture with the feel and old soul of 30's french curve cars.
