PAN ARCHITECTURE

PAN architecture is an agency in Marseille created by two architects: Jean-Luc Fugier and Bathieu Barbier Bouvet. Both graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Marseille in 2005 and 2006, respectively, after having studied abroad, i.e. a second cycle at Barcelona’s Polytechnic and a third cycle at Mexico’s Autonomous University. After working for numerous well-known architecture agencies (project manager for 7 years at Rémy Marciano for the former and 10 years at José Morales for the latter) and multiple work experiences abroad (Mexico, Belgium, Spain), they founded their own agency in Marseille in 2008. They defend the know-how required for managing big urban and architectural projects (the Lycée de Drap in Nice, the competition for extending the Euromediterranée perimeter, Châteauneuf-les-Martigues’ Plaine des Sports, the Louis-Armand secondary school in Marseille, etc.). Becoming a limited liability company in 2013, they develop activities aimed at very ambitious public commissions, competitions and a few private jobs. Their work covers all the fields in project management and urban development. Each has been honored by winning in turn the Prix du Meilleure Diplôme run by the Bouches du Rhône syndicate of architects in 2005 and 2006, and they are award-winners for the Albums des Jeunes Architectes et des Paysagistes 2012 sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Communications. Their agency was also awarded by Les Trophées Bois in 2012 in the southern France/Côte d’Azur region for environmental issues. They work on a regular basis for the École d’Architecture de Marseille and have been invited on several occasions to take part in juries, lectures and round tables.
