While the office possesses a broad range of expertise and experience in various project types, the emphasis is on design as a strategic process applicable to any site, program, scope or scale. What directs this methodology is a deep interest in multi-scalar site conditions and processes (spatial, social, historic, economic, ecologic, ...) as a resource for the development of contemporary built form. Investigation In combination with practice, the office facilitates research agendas that investigate a range of topics associated with the city. This work is often an extension of active projects; intent on enriching the particular design response, expanding upon topics encountered in their development or simply to exercise an active curiosity about the urban environment.
