Both architecture and design are practices that spawn from the imagination, through MN Design I try to bring the delight and improbability of the imagined to life. Forming MN Design in 2012 my aim was to pursue architecture and design in a different way, with different goals in mind.
Having worked for several architectural practices in the past, this practice was an opportunity to do things differently. Taking on architecture, furniture, industrial design and other projects is a more rounded way of developing a design language. Each type of design feeds into the others, and by using my hands to build many of the projects myself I was able to gain a better appreciation and understanding of materials and the way they work.
This company has allowed me the opportunity to take on projects I would not have thought possible and excel with them. I look forward to having the opportunity to take on bigger and more elaborate projects in the future.
