META-PROJECT, founded in 2007 in New York, is a dynamic, creative architecture studio formed by international young designers. On the basis of several distinguished projects, the studio has now relocated to the center of Beijing.
META-PROJECT engages in interdisciplinary practice of architecture, urbanism, landscape, and interior/exhibition design to promote mixed value of contemporary architecture.
As a culture platform that spans between architecture and urbanism research, META-PROJECT is intended to bridge design and research with multi-disciplinary collaboration that engages different dimensions of the contemporary life, and to develop design projects for promoting the culture of contemporary city. By understanding urban activities as a medium of everyday life, It aims at establish a new relationship between architecture and its social environment.
