SAHO NYC is an award winning design-build firm led by distinguished designer and master of building, Rafi Elbaz. SAHO -- an abbreviated version of Simplified Architecture House -- is just that. We’re a studio that brings to life beautiful, simplistic design in a streamlined, vertically integrated way.
Since we’re design/build, we have total control of all steps in the design and construction process. This model eliminates the middleman and generates faster and more distinguished results. We have an open knowledge base of the construction industry, product specifications, local craftsmen, and close working relationships with them, too.
We are associated with -- and have been recognized by -- renowned institutions such as Harvard University, Cooper Union, MOMA, Common Ground, The Pompidou Center, and First-Step Housing. Our emphasis on caring for the environment is evident in our partnership with World Water.
We are currently working on projects centered on beautifying spaces, loft conversions, adaptive design and new construction.
