After living in northern Japan for four years, Liam returned to Australia to establish his studio design practice in 2013. His work observes Japanese aesthetic concepts. A prominent feature in his work is the use of 'Ma' relating to absence and void. This is expressed in the space between repeating lines and geometry found in his designs.
