Kwan Design Architects’ area of work includes designing new buildings, rehabilitating existing buildings and providing design services for a wide range of building types and urban spaces. The principal architect works closely with the clients and executes the work directly with a team of creative consultants that organize around the projects. The ability to seek creative problem solving opportunities, to seek design challenges, and to implement design solution faithfully best describe the firm’s practice principal. Kwan Design Architects recognize the practice principal as “a way of life”. We want to create sensuous spaces that our clients can feel good about. At project inception, the facts of the project are analyzed in preparation of a concept. In collaboration with the clients and consultants, the concept will evolve into schematic design and alternative approaches for the design. Based on an approved schematic design, the team will further fix and describe the size and character of the project into design development and construction documents. During the design process, the team is able to realize successful built solutions based on conceptual, economic and regional factors as they relate to Architecture and Design.
