KORBAN/FLAUBERT work across design and sculpture, producing furniture, sculpture, screens and installations for a range of public and private clients. The ductility and lustre of metal are a primary source of fascination. Metal manipulation in the workshop leads to objects and sculpture with a sense of contained energy and movement. Over the years Janos has developed significant expertise in metal. The metal workshop allows direct control over the material and free rein for experimentation. The modelmaking studio is central to the conception and development of sculpture and installations. KORBAN/FLAUBERT have exhibited internationally and are represented in design museum collections in Australia, the U.S. and Germany.
