John DeSalvo Design

John DeSalvo Design has been creating sophisticated architecture, interiors and design objects since 2008. John DeSalvo received his Masters of Architecture in Urban Design from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. Living in Germany for a decade, he has worked for some of the most prominent architects in the 20th century including Norman Foster on the Reichstag project and Helmut Jahn in Berlin and Chicago. Now living in Chicago with his own architectural practice, he is dedicated to a comprehensive approach of integrating technology and sustainability into high end design. He has already won several design awards and is a free hand illustrator for Norton Press Publications architectural pocket guide book series which include Chicago, Los Angles and Miami. John taught at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) where was is one of the directors of the graduate school studios, and graduate admissions for the College of Architecture and taught his own advanced studio . He also has a freehand rendering course and travel abroad program. Now partnered, he is leader at DeSalvo-Florian Architects.
