Fournier Gersovitz Moss Drolet Et Associés Architectes

Fournier Gersovitz Moss Drolet et Associés Architectes (FGMDA) has been engaged in the practice of contextual architecture since it was created in 1996. Born of the merger of two offices first established in 1983, the firm combines extensive experience with facilities in northern regions with expertise in heritage interventions and residential design. FGMDA is managed by architects: Partners Alain Fournier, Julia Gersovitz, Rosanne Moss and Georges Drolet and two Senior Associates, John Diodati and Dima Cook. FGMDA serves its clientele from offices in two locations: the Montreal headquarters and the Toronto office. With a team of over 70 architectural design and management professionals, FGMDA has earned a national reputation for the quality and relevance of its designs, as well as for the professionalism of its personnel. Within the firm, architects pool their expertise to address particular contexts: designing for aboriginal cultures in remote locations; expanding heritage buildings in a compatible language or restoring deteriorated historic materials. Amongst affiliated firms, Panaq Design and Design 4 Points constitute respectively the Architectural/Engineering Iqaluit-based company for Northern projects and the administrative entity of FGMDA. The notion of team extends outside the firm’s boundary; FGMDA enjoys the support of a wide network of technical experts and specialized consultants who join the project teams when required.
