Filip Janssens started designing made to measure furniture in 2003 for his own home.Modular construction, a lot like building with Lego blocks. The idea was that the furniturecould be broken down and built up else where but in another composition.
A publication in the media in 2008 really set things off and more and more people contacted Filip to design their homes.

Filip Janssens: “Designing is like painting an abstract geometric artwork but in 3D. Lines become dimensions and volumes.I test all possibilities with modular volumes: using a volume inside another volume,asymmetry, working in different layers or depths, open and closed volumes, working onlywith the outline of the volume, etc..”.
