Divercity Architects is an award-winning architecture practice with offices in London (2008, RIBA Chartered Practice) and Athens (2004). We are a full service architecture and interior design practice with a wide-ranging portfolio of projects including boutique hotels, high-end housing complexes, private residences as well as commercial and public spaces. Our body of work demonstrates our ability to handle challenging briefs in a variety of locations and contexts. We can offer design ideas from initial concept to custom-furnished interiors, or undertake specific elements of a project, depending on our clients’ needs. We treat every client as anindividual and respect that every project is unique. Building designs are developed to be innovative, collaborative and environmentally sensitive. Our strong and vibrant presence in the international architecture and design scene has resulted in a number of prestigious Awards and Distinctions, such as The European Hotel Design Award for Hotel Design of the Year (Winner, 2007 & Shortlisted 2010), The European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award (Nominated, 2009, 2013 & 2015) and The Plan Award (Shortlisted, 2015). Our work has been published widely in architectural books and magazines, as well as included in exhibitions world-wide. With international clients including Libra Group & Grace Hotels Group, IHG, iSNf Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Onassis Cultural Centre, and Hassan Allam Properties, along with projects both realised or in design and construction throughout the UK & Europe, North Africa, USA and South America, we have established a distinctive method in the development of contemporary architecture. We have the ability to evolve the design process by enriching the unique local characteristics and context through an international architectural language, with specific emphasis given to craftsmanship and sustainability. Recent honours include a monographic exhibition at the Benaki Museum, Athens, entitled ‘This Show Is About Divercity’.
