Danilo Matoso Macedo

MGS – Macedo, Gomes & Sobreira – is formed by architects and urban designers Danilo Matoso Macedo (UFMG, 1997), Elcio Gomes da Silva (UnB, 1995) and Fabiano José Arcadio Sobreira (UFPE, 1996). The office, established in 2004, gathered the experience of its members both as designers and scholars to take part in architectural competitions, wining the third prize on the National Competitions for the Symphonic Orchestra of Minas Gerais Theater, and the firs prize for the FHE – Army Housing Foundation - Headquarters. The partners also act as authors and editors texts, researches and architectural designs on the portal Design Competitions , on the MDC Magazine www.mdc.arq.br and on the Docomomo Brasilia Chapter , among other publications. For each commission, a new partnership comes up, from which the work process is determined.
