Carlo Aiello (1978) graduated from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) at Columbia University in New York City in 2004. After collaborating with Asymptote Architecture and Skidmore, Owings and Merrill he established Evolo Press for which he is Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director.
In 2013 Carlo founded Los Angeles-based studio Carlo Aiello Design, an atelier that focuses on innovative contemporary industrial design. In the same year, Carlo received the prestigious International Contemporary Furniture Fair Studio Award (ICFF) for his Parabola Chair.
Carlo has been Juror at the World Architecture Festival, AIA Miami, AIA Los Angeles, and the Krob Competition. Since 2010 he is Faculty at the School of Architecture at the University of Southern California (USC) where he teaches architectural design.
