Our company, Berrel Berrel Kräutler AG, was created in January 2009 through a merger of Berrel Architekten, Basel and Berrel Kräutler Architekten, Zurich by the three architects Jürg Berrel, Maurice Berrel and Raphael Kräutler, with offices in Basel and Zurich. This association resulted in a generation-spanning and dynamic architectural company with projects that were implemented successfully both nationally and internationally.
Our activities encompass a wide-ranging spectrum of town planning, development and realisation of office and school buildings as well as the implementation of residential and cultural projects. Thanks to our 15-member team of architects, project managers and draftsmen, we are able to realise almost every construction project in-house.
Our work reflects the systematic analysis of and involvement with the construction tasks, the location, and the client at the aesthetic and sensory, but also functional, economic and ecological level. We design exceptional and innovative buildings thanks to our love of architecture and design, our efficient office structure as well as our interdisciplinary network.
We develop individual solutions in teamwork. As generalists, we feel that each task, with its order-specific qualities, presents us with new challenges. We are always seeking close collaboration with specialist planners, engineers, graphic designers and artists. Interdisciplinary collaboration allows us to give a contemporary shape to the tasks entrusted to us.
