SUPERGRAU believes in sustainability, which rises from the conscious decision for or against consumption. Founded in 2010 in the (super-) grey area of an industrial culture, the furniture brand designs, develops and produces furniture with character for an individual living in cooperation with German supplier. To love, to buy, to preserve – that is what its interpretation of a “cradle-to-cradle” philosophy is all about. And what the level of an emotional bond, which SUPERGRAU wants to achieve with its furniture, should also be about. The brand therefore employs reusable materials like stainless steel, local wood and gold in handmade as well as in manufacturing production processes. This materials’ sumptuousness foiled by zeitgeist and formal simplicity is the key element of the creative mark of SUPERGRAU.
The company headquarter of SUPERGRAU Möbeldesign OHG is based in Solingen, NRW, Germany. In 2012 the first showroom opened in Berlin. Acting partners and founders are the admen Denis Cegielski and Tobias Welzel, and industrial designer Bjoern Berger.
