To Create; It is our most important activity through which we let ourselves exist in life and define who we are. When I began to focus on my being, other than evaluating my existence through other people’s eyes, I realized activities related with engineering and civil service did not really define me. And I started to think on what really “creation” means to me. In this process I realized that, “designing” means existing in a world that is only limited with one’s imagination. In this period that I try to change my definitions about myself, the idea of designing as a profession, first appeared as a faraway dream and then transformed into an unstoppable desire. If imagination empowers us to create an infinite world in our minds, transformation of that dream into a substance gives us the chance to transform our inner world into reality. For me, this process is the proof that it is only ourselves who can envision our lives. I use “furniture” as a tool to transform design into a substance which makes it possible to make art a part of our lives. Besides, furniture design is an area that allows you to apply originalities easily, bearing in mind the multiplicity of ordinary models. As an outcome of above all, attaining “furniture design” as my profession is to play my favorite game whole day.
