ACP is passionate about producing high quality, sustainable architecture that enhances the environment and the lives of all those who use or experience our buildings. ACP is led by it's third generation of partners. We became a limited liability company in 1983, but the original partnership was formed in 1939 giving us an exceptional 70 years of architectural practice and a prestigious history of which we are enormously proud. The nature of ACP's work follows a constant theme, concentrated in the public and institutional sectors with education, healthcare, military and government projects. In the 1980s we purposely broadened the scope of our work with projects for private companies and developers. Now, with PFI, PPP, BSF and Academies, the majority of our projects are procured via the private sector. By building on our long experience in the educational sector, ACP is now recognised as a leading practitioner in the design of primary and secondary schools, with many exciting projects on site and under development throughout the UK. Notwithstanding this success, ACP remains a generalist practice, responding to the market, adopting new working methods, meeting challenges and seeking innovative design solutions in all sectors. Current projects within the practice, other than education, fall in the residential, airport, healthcare, custodial and community sectors.
