Aqua Creations Lighting & Furniture Atelier was founded in 1994 by designer-­artist Ayala Serfaty and photographer Albi Serfaty. Since its inception the atelier has acquired a reputation for its innovative designs and has earned international awards. Over the years, the pioneering use of handcraft techniques with advanced lighting technology has put Aqua Creations in the forefront of sustainable design and green industry. the clients’ vision and needs from conception to installation. Sensuality of materials and forms, as well as softness of light characterise and distinguish Aqua Creations on the current design scene. Despite the growth in the manufacturing and distribution process, the handmade imprimatur still remains; skilled artisans continue to work on each piece individually, ensuring they are works of art as well as products of design. Today Aqua Creations is no longer solely designed by Ayala Serfaty, a new generation of designers is contributing to the company’s development with ideas and collections. The company however, stays true to its artistic language and its core values.
