ALPINE’s know-how in all sectors of construction enables it to provide a broad spectrum of services. Independent of the size of project, ALPINE’s global project experience makes it a partner of choice. The classic construction service is enhanced by numerous services that improve a project’s quality and ensure its timely completion. PPP models in project investment are very much a part of this service, particularly when it comes to infrastructure. In 2006 the ALPINE consortium won the tender for the first large PPP-road-construction project, the construction of Project Y PPP Eastern Region Package 1.
A healthy expansion
The group maintains a full network of subsidiaries in Austria and Germany and continuously expands its market position in CEE and SEE countries. ALPINE won numerous tenders in projects concerning infrastructure, road construction, power station construction and environmental tasks. Subsidiaries are founded in CIS countries to handle projects in Russia. ALPINE also maintains subsidiaries in Asia and Arabic countries. The group’s positive development is evidenced by an increase in West-European projects.
ALPINE is the second largest construction group in Austria and one of the most successful in Europe. In 2011 it had a construction output of about 3.6 billion Euro and employed 15,24 employees.
