Architects from Agrippinawerft 18, Köln, Germany
kister scheithauer gross architects and urban planners’ key interest is an in-depth discourse with place and typology. We transform abstract visions into sound architecture that strengthens context and site.

kister scheithauer & partner evolved of an affiliation of young Cologne architects founded by Prof. Johannes Kister und Reinhard Scheithauer in 1992. Since 1997 Prof. Susanne Gross is the third supporting member of the partnership kister scheithauer gross (ksg). From 2006 to 2012, the office runs as Ltd under management of Reinhard Scheithauer. Since 2008 Steffen Kühn und Eric Mertens are on board as additional managing directors. In 2012, Reinhard Scheithauer resigns as managing director but remains his partner position. As of January 2013, the position of sole managing director is fulfilled by Eric Mertens.

ksg's work scope ranges from architectural planning and realization to urban planning as well as surveying work. Being active as general planners and traditional architects throughout all work phases we run a nationally and internationally successful practice since nearly 20 years. With a team of approximately 50 people we currently run the office from our two locations in Cologne and Leipzig.
