For the design of a new prominent corporate office headquarters located in Little Rock, Arkansas, Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects utilized Banker Wire’s SZ-4 wire mesh pattern—in a stainless steel and brass mixed alloy—to create a striking ceiling installation. Arriving in Delft is an unforgettable experience. From the outset, Mecanoo’s idea was to design a station that makes it clear to visitors that they have arrived in Delft. The station, in combination with the new city hall, sits atop a new train tunnel built in place of the old concrete viaduct that divided the city in two since 1965.Coming up the escalators, the impressive ceiling with the historic map of Delft unfolds (in collaboration with Geerdes Ontwerpen). As part of the Council’s ambitious expansion plan, the new Arthurlie Family Centre offers 120 morning and 120 afternoon places for children aged between three and five, and spaces for community use. The team of designers of YPU Balmumcu, construction company located in Istanbul (Turkey), was responsible for designing the rest space that includes the metal mesh of Kriskadecor.As a separator of translucent space, we find an independent curtain with the Nieva de noche pattern, which changes from black to blue until it reaches silver, adding luminosity and colour to this diaphanous office.But the design that stands out most is the structure of the roof, a set of round concentric curtains that, with the same organic design in cool tones, surround the central point of light.Design: YPU Balmumcu More

Located in a picturesque environment, far from the madding crowd, we find the Hotel Säntis (Schwägalp, Switzerland), which opened its doors in 2015. The architect and interior designer Michele Rondelli was commissioned to design it with a modern concept.On the outside, a wooden facade serves as a smooth transition to the green landscape. Inside, unlined walls, others decorated with stone and simple furniture, industrial style.
